Ah, the Huntress Owl Sentinel! Now why didn't I think of that..

I was trying to figure out how to get the last fragment (or 6th perhaps, but the only one I hadn't been able to get) of the Shadow Orb in The Tomb of Sargeras, a level in Warcraft III - The Frozen Throne.

The internet is a wonderful place. See the problem is that I know where the fragment is, but I couldn't figure out how to get it without cheating. I could find and retrieve every other Shadow Orb fragment without cheating, but I just couldn't figure out how to get one. Anyway, noZedive13 has created a strategy guide specifically detailing this process. Turns out I need to use an Owl Sentinel, I hadn't even thought of that, but I knew the problem was that I needed to 'see over' the ledge somehow. I had tried casting a Rock Golum (or whatever it's called) up there, but I can't target with spell, so it didn't work, and I had to resort to the internet to figure it out.

Cool!

I particularly liked the intro to the guide, that said:

A lot of people might say, "Who cares? It's one stupid item." Where I come from, we spend all day trying to find every single secret in a game. Doesn't matter how retarded it may be, if it can be done, it should be done. Just to spite the programmer who didn't think any one would take the time to care.

Hey, I care! :)

John.
