If it's not online, it's not on.

I've noticed that for years now if I haven't been able to do something online then I just won't do it.

That is, if I can't find out about it, apply for it, book it, read about it, see what others have to say about it, get fine details about it, pay for it, or do it, online then I'll just ignore it.

This applies to everything.

The only exception is when a friend or family member organises it, or if a local facility is involved whose processes I already have some knowledge of.

Jobs, movies, plays, concerts, sports, communication, study, food, music, grocery shopping, banking, real estate, etc.

Basically the extent to which I will participate in RL is strictly proportional to my ability to participate online.

I'm pretty sure that there are increasingly more people like me.

Having a 'web presence' is very important. Otherwise, you don't exist.

John.
