I added a 'Movies' category to my blog.
I've done pretty well avoiding the addition of a 'philosophy' category. ;)
It's funny, when I started this thing back in November last year, I decided that I didn't want to say anything that might upset people. Or that might tend to compromise me in some way, by letting people know 'what I really think (TM)'. Since then my attitude has changed pretty dramatically such that I would feel compromised if I didn't tell people what I really think.
Initially I didn't want to swear, or talk about religion or politics. I was afraid of how I might be judged.
Now I don't care about that. I don't feel obliged to make anyone happy with the content here.
Sometimes I wish I had a purely 'tech' site. I've been thinking about doing it for years and years, but the reality is that I don't have time to develop quality original content for a site like that presently. It's unlikely that I will any time soon either ( although who knows how the universe will unfold! ;).
I like to think of this site as my 'outlet'. It's the one place where I can't be reprimanded for having a say about something that's on my mind. I like movies.
