Arrrrgh! and 'Why web-based systems suck'

I just spent the best part of an hour writing a wonderful post titled "SQL Server and Triggers (in the words of De Bono: I Am Right - You Are Wrong) ;)" that went into details about 'why not to use triggers' and 'how I do database programming on SQL Server' complete with annecdotes, quotes, references and scathing sarcasm.

It was a master-peice post. Naturally, when I hit submit I discovered that my session had been timed out, and I lost everything. I got re-directed to the login page, but my HTTP post data was tragically lost forever. Even Microsoft Word doesn't do this to me any more!

I'm shattered, this is the first time that I've lost work for years. To add insult to injury, I just ran out of coke and it's 4:15 AM.

In the words of Eric Cartman: Screw you guys, I'm going home.

John.

p.s. Thinking about getting out my Hex editor and checking to see if it's still in RAM, or my page file, or something.. I'm so upset.
