I got a new computer today.
Technically it's not new at all, it used to be my Dad's, but *he* got a new computer, so I got a hand-me-down.
It's not that great, but I'm pretty happy with it. It's running WinXP at the moment, and I'm going to install Visual Studio 6 on it to work on some old stuff for my client.
The cool thing is that now I have a 3D card. It's an old gforce, not real great, but I can play quake3 now, which is cool. The computer is too slow to run Warcraft, although if I did run woor at least it would look OK.. (even if it still lagged) :P
But the *really* cool thing is the dual monitors. I have two 17” monitors attached. This is pretty much the first time I've ever managed to get two monitors to work in any sort of useful way.. so I'm kind of excited. :)
