Making notes

Remember that Seinfeld episode where Jerry writes down a note for himself in the middle of the night, then can't figure out what it says the next day? Then in the end he realises the joke he wrote down wasn't even funny?

Well, I make notes like that too. When I wake up at night with something in my head I rush for a bit of paper and write it down.

(Actually the other weekend while I was away I had the most vivid dream, and I woke up and made 15 pages of notes about it before going back to sleep. I should post that here some time. But that's not what I'm talking about at the moment.)

So I'm just tidying up my desk here now, and I found a note on a single bit of paper that I've written to myself a month or two ago.

I guess I must have been thinking about a project I'm working on.

I wrote this down:

“If all updates are done first then ownership can never change.”

I have absolutely no idea what that was supposed to mean, or why I thought I needed to write it down.

Balls.
