You know the purpose of the company is to act as an ethereal 'person' so that owners can mitigate responsibility for their actions (or inactions, etc.)
People get involved in owning companies as a form of protection from liability, among other things.
I think it's funny how in everyone's blog these days (where they mention their company.. ;) they say something like “these are my views, not the views of my company.”
I.e. in order to *participate* *real people* have to opt out of speaking for “the company.”
It's fucking stupid.
Companies can't speak.
They're even less real than you are.

Hey, have you counted the swear jar proceeds lately?
It would take some time to count. I have about 1.2 L of coins, if it's fair to approximate based on volume.
I have been paying though. Usually I pay at the same time I press submit ( with a big smile on my face ;) but if I 'deferr' for some reason then I always throw in a few extra coins when I pay, just to make sure.
I'd guess and say somewhere between $100 and $200 maybe..? I really have no idea.
I'll probably wait until it's full before counting..
