Oh, good work internet!

So I want to use javascript (ok, ok, “jscript”) and not vbscript, coz I'm addicted to semi-colons.

But, there are no UI facilities in javascript, whereas there are in vbscript (InputBox, chiefly).

In the past when I've been hit with this, I've quickly run back to vbscript, because IT JUST WORKS.

However, this time, I tried to find out how I could do this sort of thing with javascript.

I quickly realised that I was going to need a COM library to call. I considered hacking one together, but needing to register COM stuff is such a pain in the arse, that I really just didn't want to have to deal with it.

Luckily, I found a novel idea on the internet. Basically to use IE for user input. The page is throwing 404s, but there was a cache.

Good work internet.

Btw, now there is another cache, and you can access it if you're me.
