I saw a young man -- probably about my age, but maybe a little younger -- being escorted to a police car last night.
He was in hand cuffs and had been arrested, along with a group of others.
I saw him just as I was driving away.
He had a defeated smile on his face.
I felt sorry for him.
We should try to help people become part of the solution; not force them to become part of the problem.
