These are some thoughts on a new backup server. The only purpose for this server is to constantly backup my network. It's not a file server or VM host or web server or anything other than storage for rsync backups from over the fleet.

It's not a file server (except for restores) or VM host or web server or anything other than storage for rsync backups from over the fleet. Leaving '[[love]]' free to be the primary file server, X-Windows system, and VirtualBox VM host.
 
Note: after I upgrade the RAM on '[[love]]' I will have an 8GB RAM stick left over which I can put in '[[happiness]]'... I think I will also have a PCIe NVMe M.2 adapter left over from '[[love]]'.
